Welcome to Empire Gavriel

Welcome to Empire Gavriel, it’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here! (release the balloons) EG is more than just a blog, EG is a platform for positive change. Empire Gavriel will cover a number of topics from Interviews with other entrepreneurs building their own empires, blog updates on what’s going in the Gavriel empire like Halon (Sport of the future), Channll (the best quality video content online) Carerfy (Uber for Carers) and last but not least creating inspiring videos showcasing cool things you can do where you are and places you’re intending on visiting.

I invite everyone reading this who are either working on something they want to share with the world or considering creating something interesting to contact EG if you’d like to feature on the website or would just like to meet up to politic over a cup of herbal tea.

For a second, I’d like to turn your attention to the image at the head of this post (artist – Jack Ngo, more coming from him soon). The original vision for the very first Empire Gavriel post was to dazzle and entertain you guys with some hilarious and insightful quips that have you belly laughing with drool running down the side of your mouth and a tear in your eye saying “oh mercy” like Seymour…but things change. The plan was to introduce you to an inspiring up and coming entrepreneur by the name of Quincy Cassell Williams and STööKI, a creative collective he was a part of but unfortunately on Oct 6 2014 at the age of 26 years old he passed away. Less than 6 months ago I had to say bye to another friend who passed away under similar circumstances, no clear causes, no sign, just a phone call to say they had died and no one knew why.

I’m no stranger to death and serious illness in my family, still loosing 2 people in such close proximity had an effect on my thoughts and feelings about how most of us choose to live our lives. Maybe it’s because I’m from a big city but in my opinion you don’t have to look very far to see that so many people are unhappy. With so much negative coverage in the media fused with unrealistic manufactured lifestyles it’s no wonder people are unhappy.

Through Empire Gavriel I hope to help inspire more people to learn the lesson that tomorrow is never promised so if you’re not doing what you love doing today or at least working towards it then you need to make a change before it’s too late.

If you got this far in the post then you’ve got my deepest gratitude, I know it was a lot to take in for the first post. Thank you for your time and I look forward to entertaining, inspiring and showcasing your empires.

See you soon
